Instacart Head of Revenue, Local Independent Grocery Merrick Rosner took the stage at the IGA Awards of Excellence Ceremony on Monday, February 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada to accept the award on Instacart’s behalf. Throughout the evening, IGA honored a host of members and partners from across the globe, including International Retailers of the Year from Australia, South Africa, and the U.S.

Instacart earned the Red Oval Service Provider of the Year Award for helping advance omnichannel commerce among independent grocers. This award is the highest honor the Independent Grocers Alliance bestows upon its partners.

“The team at Instacart are truly dedicated to helping independents,” IGA VP Brand Development Michael La Kier said. “They embody all the qualities for an outstanding supplier partner—they’re strategically aligned with our mission, help our retailers reach their growth potential, and are working with us to advance our retailers beyond the U.S. borders. Plus, they have brought IGA retailers opportunities to be first to market, like bringing Caper Carts to Geissler’s Supermarkets locations in the Northeast.”
