Bassett's Market has served Ottawa County, Ohio since 1898 when Nahmy Bassett opened his first small market in Oak Harbor, Ohio. The business has been run by Bassett family members ever since, with stores now in Port Clinton and Bellevue, Ohio.
President and CEO Charlie Bassett was an early adopter of Connected TV (CTV) ads and has been running them for nearly two years. The ads are produced and placed by IGA's ADvay Media Group.
CTV — any television that connects to the internet, which allows users to stream video content and access various online services — is especially relevant now as it provides a fresh approach to engaging audiences who are becoming harder to reach through conventional broadcast TV. With consumers shifting from cable and satellite TV to streaming video services, traditional advertising methods have become less effective. CTV allows advertisers to connect with these consumers in a more precise and meaningful manner.
