2025 Spring Assessment Begins Monday, April 21

It’s time for the 2025 Independent Grocers Alliance Spring Assessment program.

Beginning Monday, April 21, a trained local assessor will visit your store to see how it looks as a shopper. During their visit, the assessor will perform a store walk-through to fully document—in pictures—the store’s highlights and best practices along with what could use improvement.

Within two weeks of the visit, we’ll update your custom dashboard with the assessment results, including photos, scoring, and comments (more on accessing your dashboard below).

The Visit

To help us collect the data and meaningful information, and conduct the assessments, we have enlisted Trax, one of the nation’s top data collection companies focused on the shopper experience. Trax has scheduled a trained local shopper who will assess your store(s).

Once the walk-through is complete, Trax will analyze these photos to ensure the data is both objective and accurate. Please allow the assessor to complete their full assessment of your store.

The Report

14 days after the visit, your dashboard will be updated with the photos, scoring, and comments from the assessment. Access your dashboard here.
