The IGA Assessment program evaluates stores using locally trained assessors who provide detailed feedback and photos on store performance. Focusing on operational criteria to improve the shopping experience, the Assessment results deliver valuable feedback that help store teams determine what they're doing well and what is an opportunity for improvement. The program aims to increase transparency, provide actionable insights, and foster continual improvement.
Based on the feedback from our assessment committee of retailers and wholesalers, the IGA team is working to make changes to the assessment that would better reflect the opinions of your regular IGA customers.
We are pausing the second assessment of the year to allow for testing of new processes in select markets. Your assessment score for the year will be based on the spring shop, which has already been processed. Five Star winners will be announced in early December 2024.
