Congratulations 2010 IGA Five Star Retailers!

Monitoring Performance with the Assessment Program

The IGA Five Star Assessment Program is a management tool to help you monitor your IGA Brand Customer Experience and your overall image and identity. Each quarter a specially trained customer visits your store to evaluate the customer service experience provided by your team. Within two days of this “unrevealed” visit you have a concise evaluation at your disposal.

In addition to the unannounced visits, once a year the Assessment shopper also completes a “revealed” appraisal. Accompanied by you, the shopper will take a deeper look at important areas like food safety, storage and sanitation. Also at that time, the implementation of your IGA image and identity standards will be evaluated.

Earning Recognition through the Assessment Program

Each year, IGA Retailers earn a designation from one to five stars based on the results of their Assessment Reports. Retailers who achieve Five Star status are personally recognized and receive a marketing tool kit to let customers know they are shopping at one of the best stores in the IGA Brand family. Four and Three Star retailers also receive certificates in recognition of their achievement.
