IGA ANNOUNCES 80TH ANNIVERSARY $80 SHOPPING SPREE
A host of famous brand name manufacturers are sponsoring the IGA 80 th Anniversary marketing program, including Campbell Soup Company, The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Hydration Unit, ConAgra Foods, Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Kraft Foods, Nabisco, Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, Nestlé USA, J.M. Smucker Company and WM. Wrigley Jr. Company. IGA Retailers will have an opportunity to win a share of an $8,000 cash prize just for participating in the event. Winners will be selected via random drawing of all retailers who submit proof of participation. The breakdown of the cash prize is as follows: “The IGA $80 Shopping Spree, the first official event in our 80 th Anniversary marketing plan, allows for a winner in every participating IGA store. By doing so, this event creates a consumer awareness of this monumental occasion, and kicks off a system-wide celebration,” said Doug Fritsch, IGA Vice President, U.S. Chief Growth Officer. “We are extremely excited to officially begin the 80 th Anniversary Celebration.
