CHICAGO, IL -

As in years past, the primary focus of the
event will be the KidsFest Treasure Hunt Game. The Treasure Hunt Game-devised
to help familiarize children with the layout of their local IGA-gives
children clues that lead them to certain products throughout the store.
Courtesy of KidsFest sponsors Coca-Cola and LEGO, one Grand Prize
winner will receive a trip for a family of four to
California 's
Disney Land
, as well as a $250.00 shopping spree at the LEGO store. Additional
prizes for each of IGA's seven marketing regions will include children's
personal computers and LEGO Make & Create Prize Packages.
"KidsFest is always one of our most popular
marketing events," Zorona Chapman, marketing events coordinator said.
"IGA Retailers have always loved the opportunity the event provides
them to draw Hometown Kids into the store. It's not at all uncommon

from the fire department to local animal shelters come to the weekend
festivals held at participating IGA's. We're looking forward to what
promises to be our most successful KidsFest to date."
